I never understood the guys who would buy a brand new Harley and have no idea how to ride the damn thing.

Makes you wonder if he ever rode a bicycle before?

1st off people that know NEVER RIDE IN SHORTS! lmao I see people riding in shorts and flip flops I just SMH. dumb.

Are those “mailman” shorts?

When I was 11 I was given a WWII 'flying flea' tank change Enfield as a chassis and a large box of bits. Everything was there, totally disassembled and filthy. Took me two years to figure out. But I learnt a lot and rode it around the garden with pride.

Fear is the number one thing that kills a motorcycle rider. A fear to lean A fear of speed A fear of turning or breaking You have to learn to conquer fear to ride a motorcycle. It's a hard work, BTW. So much more than in a car.

Nice mailman shorts

Has he ridden a fucking bicycle before???

FWIW

Lol reminds me of this scene

This reminds me of when my dad tried to ride my brother's old Yamaha 750. It was after my brother had passed and my dad wanted to learn to ride - so mid 80s. He was probably in his early 60s at the time. I drove the bike to a parking lot near the house and my dad met me there. I showed him how it all worked and told him how to start out slow. He was acting like it was not problem so I thought he had it. He started to take off, a little too fast, and it threw him back in the seat a little which caused him to pull back on the throttle and gun it. I sat there an watched in horror as my dad drove, out of control, over they curb and into four lanes of traffic. Fortunately there were no cars on the road but he freaked and dumped the bike. He was okay but a little banged up and for sure shaken. I felt so bad for him because, well...he was my dad and that might have been the first time I ever saw him not able to handle a situation. He looked embarrassed and defalted. He never drove the bike again and we never talked about it. We ended up selling it, but I will never forget that day. I'm 70 now, but it still sticks with me.

Good to get that first crash out of the way early. As potential consequences go, that was a gentle lesson.

Bro looked slow before he even took off.. He had that head cocked a weird kinda way..

that went well he is the instructor right?

I don't think that dude is trainable.

Look at the Bright side. He had a helmet.

Harley bros: “I see the problem. You need some ape hangers with tassels on the grips”

Pin stripe shorts for the win.

Reminds me of the movie, Wild Hogs

Why a sportster?

When nature takes its course...

Just wrapped up my endorsement over the weekend after riding dirty on my own motorcycle for 2 years. Amazes me how many people have never even ridden a dirt bike or an enduro prior to buying a brand new Harley.

Helpful hint: Use the lever and pedal on the right.

First of all, he’d have been better off, buying a little dirt bike to learn on, that oops would not have been so costly m, second of all never wear shorts on a motorcycle.

Sigh. Years ago a non-riding neighbor bought a Harley and had it delivered to his house. I pushed him to at least go take the basic MSF course but he refused. Within 10 days his Harley was destroyed and he had one arm and one leg in a cast.

Yeah if you don’t know how to ride a bicycle and jump on a motorcycle you are going to have a bad day.

Every moron needs to start small cc then work your way up until you are ready. Get yourself a street/dirt bike and go have fun and learn to ride

looks to me like he is trying to train himself in a parking lot. Best place to make mistakes.

I had an uncle that was showing my cousins how to safely operate a MC when he accidently popped the clutch and did a wheelie across the lawn, across the street and smashed into the garage door of a house. Nothing was seriously hurt except for his pride....😂

Get a real bike 😎

How bro was feelin

In shorts with no gear, classic.
