This is not just historically inaccurate - it is an unveiled colonial-white Christian supremacy take - it is anti-Kingdom of God. It comes from another kingdom...very sad. Thank you @JoashPThomas for being a voice of hope, reason and deep faith. Merci mon ami!

This crazy but normal. It’s the root of the Chrich Plant industry in the US—the notion that the world will only know Christ if White Christians go on Church Planting Missions and bring Jesus to them. It’s disgusting, racist and rooted in awful lazy exegesis.

Doug Wilson is a fool who speaks eloquently but is still a fool. He is a not so closet white Christian nationalist. Mark and avoid.

Thank you for sharing! This kind of misinformation is corrupting the Church; and your fact-based, historical and biblical perspective is so incredibly important.

History of the Hissing Curse 1 Kings 9:8 KJV And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?

They won't listen. God made it so that their sect would magically be the right one. Why would they believe it if it wasn't ordained? No history required.

You’re missing the point - I’ve got a Zimbabwean friend who wondered why apostate England feels more “Christian” than 85%+ Christian Zimbabwe. This perspective helped him greatly
