this is why i can never take "haikyuu isn't realistic" comments seriously

So like this entire sequence is like 2 episodes due to the constant monologues and flashbacks in between shots.

thats like 3 episodes with backstories

Haikyuu is the ultimate representation of volleyball in anime, there's literally no volleyball anime that can top it for years to come

Different pace, in Haikyuu one smash take a day

game looks intense wow

That narrative to me is super crazy, out of all sports anime Haikyuu is the most realistic one haha motherfuckers dont have any powers haha its literally super real and if it about Hinata jumping high… well theres tons of ppl that jump high 😭😂

Are these highschool kids ???

so u post a normal volleyball game? are any of them closing their eyes when striking? baiting a jump and running to the opposite side of the court to strike in the same play? serving someone while they were already in mid air before the serve even started? like dafuq r u doing

Holy shit what a rally 😲🔥

Ikuzeeeeeeeee!!!!! 🫨🫨🫨🔥🔥🔥

Wait for this

If you remove every internal monologue, it is… kinda. Except for Kageyama and Hinata’s quick. If you try to defend that it is efficient or grounded in any shape or form, you’re just not a volleyball player.

This is better than the whole anime

It’s only little slowed down in some parts to emphasize the power put in the serve or the save of the ball but otherwise it’s kinda similar to real thing. It’s one of most realistic sports anime. Kuroko no basket on other hand is kinda surreal looking at Akashi and Kuroko

Omg My lovely dovely Higashiyama Highschool is back to HarukoBare this year. I didn't expect that. They once win the HarukoBare in 2019 with Ran Takahashi as their captain(He is now in Japan national valleyball team). They couldn't join in 2020 cuz of COVID.Soo happy for them😍😍

that one guy that keeps getting used as bait lmao 😭😭

This 1:40 video is like 20 episodes..

Especially when you factor in perception. Everything happens much faster when you’re on the court and your movements feel more exaggerated compared to what you see when you watch game film. Idk if it was purposely done, but Haiykuu’s game pacing was a really good example of that

For d first time I found vollyb interesting !!

わかるわー。 春高バレーって興奮する。

I actually feel like haikyuu unlocked next level for Japanese volleyball players

@OkothOndiek001

whenever i see someone running straight to the back with blood and sweat just to catch the ball and fall, i see oikawa.

Those libero's are working overtime! Dive to the max!!!!

@jesuisunquidam

@Dygzz_Bs

@Katiucha @OdeioPePe

@BureauVincent1

@pup_Shoyo

@volofilm

This is fake. That last spike should have taken 3 more episodes with lots of backstories.

Where's minus tempo? 🤔

volley is so interesting but impossible to play
