It does. Once I got Walter, Angie calmed down. She became his mama cat. I’d come home from work, and find them curled up together sleeping soundly. Then I got Max, so Walter had someone to play with.

Yeah it's sh*it being left alone all day every day. An indoor cat is a happy cat if there's company. Definitely keep them indoors though. It's safer. A responsible pet owner will do this with a cat from birth; prevent it getting run over or worse
