After Andrew Gold's debate with Steve Laws, it's clear why civic nationalism is losing support. Deportations based on ethnicity instead of behaviour are unjust, and seem unfair to most people. But if the dichotomy becomes, "Accept demographic extinction and foreign criminals living in your country," or "Deport every immigrant and their descendants," then an increasing number of people will support blanket deportations out of desperation. I don't want to see my non-native friends treated like criminals. But if civic nationalists continue to deny the reality of ethnicity, and thereby deprive Brits of ownership of their country, then they make the harshest form of ethnonationalism inevitable. Denaturalise and deport foreign criminals, benefits scroungers, and those who hate the native population and will discontinue our civilisation. Otherwise, people will resort to collective punishment to ensure their own survival.
