Splatoon 3 did not remotely flop in the West. I understand wanting the scene to be bigger here, but the game did pretty well for sequel to a game that's on the same system. Most non-Splatoon gamers haven't even seen these commercials in the first place.

I have literally shown my friends the marketing difference between here and Japan. They were genuinely baffled by how bad the marketing is here. At least S2 had decent marketing.
