I do not know this young man personally, but it seems that he has done well for himself in the relatively few years he has lived on this planet. It takes grit and hard work to get to this point in life, especially this early on. I will not diminish what he has accomplished, nor pretend that it is of no significance. However, I have noticed that this is the goal of most young people in my generation, specifically young men. They wish to travel and see as much of the world as they can, to experience everything life has to offer. They seek adventure, romance, wealth, and excitement. All of these things are good, things that God has made for us to enjoy. However, we have made these good things into bad gods that we expect to bring us peace, security, and satisfaction. Wealth is beneficial, yes. It can grant us freedom that we would not otherwise have. It allows us to spend more time pursuing that which brings us comfort, pleasure, and enjoyment. None of these things are inherently wrong to have, but they should not be where we find our purpose and value. We are all born into this world with nothing, and we will leave with nothing. Life is not a leisure pursuit. Life is not about how much you have, the trips you take, or even who you are friends or family with. The only thing that will ever matter for eternity is whether you know Christ and he knows you. Our purpose on this planet is to serve God and others. Travel is enjoyable and relaxing, yes, but we must also build rather than merely consume. A life framed by consumption will always leave you empty in the end. A life spent chasing wealth will leave you hollow. A life chasing romance for romance’s sake will leave you lonely and depressed. A life chasing pleasure will leave you dissatisfied. A life spent serving and loving Christ might involve some of those good things, but they are never to be the final destination. However, it will bring us ultimate reconciliation to God and a peace that is not from this world. I have seen many men treat good things like gods and fall apart. I have also seen many men live to glorify Christ, with little or much, and have more enjoyment and contentment than anyone seeking wealth or comfort. “Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.” “Everyone comes naked from their mother’s womb, and as everyone comes, so they depart. They take nothing from their toil that they can carry in their hands.” Ecclesiastes 5:10; 15 “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” Philippians 4:11-12

The Old Testament and Qur'an state the vanity of wealth and that pursuing it leads to no where but sorrow. Same with the teachings of Buddhism, or Hinduism, etc. etc. and the New Testament emphasizes the evil that manifests in the wealthy. This is a revolting, heathenous concept.
