That’s driver error. Fire started at the trailer axles. He either caught the brakes on fire over braking in a long downhill or had no oil in the hubs. Proper inspection and/or driving would have prevented that. Also a quick inspection on every stop.

I fear that, if the accident happens in or about the median, where the train is supposed to run, they will shut the train down, too, for passenger safety reasons, thus mooting the advantage of not using the actual roadway.
