This is why we need humanoid robots.

WTF?, I am pretty sure that you can design an isolated mechanical solution for that.

My uncle was one of the guys who fixed the gigantic radio towers. That job would also be a good one to send to robots. I asked him if he was scared and he told me "hell yes!", but did it anyways.

personally, i would just use a long stick to turn it on.

Nope…

@chris_j_paxton Moving people out of risk/harm is one of the best applications in legged robotics today

lol, any low power electrical system (robot) will fry its electrical fields as soon as power comes on

high power electromagnetic field... and a robot, made of the same stuff. yeah good idea. did you ever see what happened to the robots with the Chernobyl radiation ? not too far off.

So placing robots in distribution centers to pick packages is a mismatched use of their capabilities. Robots should work in high-risk areas or be used for disaster relief.

@grok how many people have been saved by that long hook, and in what condition were they afterwards?

ok, but who train and control humanoid robots live ?

Why can't they just make automate this? Like a mechanical system to do this

Yep I think if we had humandroid crew in Alien movies, Aliens have been eliminated because in those horror franchises aliens targeted humans, aliens wiped out humans one by one

As an electrician who works with these switch gears every single month, I approve this message!

Telepresence for hazards would be a great step in unifying job growth training opportunities with new capacities using humanoid robots.

Really wonder if someone will be against this

そもそも、その仕組みに問題があるのでは?

They say that but they're good at you be used for everything else before it's used for that cuz you know the rich people have to have one in each of their vacation houses before they even get used by any public

*where

a robot would explode doing this LOL

FUCK arc flash

High voltage. When it starts doing lightning, it ionizes rapidly and leaks gets bigger. It gets so fast it can actually explode. I wonder how many volts in there?

And who will pull the humanoid robot out of the short circuit?

Don't disrespect my clankers, they deserve a safe job too.

Man. Create a f$## longer lever.

It’s called a remote racking device, we have had them for decades, they don’t need to be humanoid

Because nothing says lets get the job done safely and correctly the first time like a more highly conductive, innately defective, underweight and underpowered humanoid robot.

Until you find out AI views arc flash like exercise or something

A demo in which the robot moves would be better. A statue of a robot could do what the robot does in what I see, ie, nothing. Is my browser failing?

or you can use a rope and a motor

@h_tsuji2011 このロボットが焼けて通電状態なら、

Those will the the first job losses: anything dangerous

The rush of air when the breakers close is crazy in person.

This is an imbecilic system. Why do you have to be so close.

但是如果发生事故,机器人也会报废的。价格降低到1万元才可以考虑。
