On April 17 2024, at around 3:14 p.m., the Seattle Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce conducted an undercover operation in Tukwila, Washington, USA. The 67-year-old suspect believed he was meeting two young girls, aged 7 and 11. When officers attempted to arrest him at a hotel on Southcenter Parkway, he produced a gun. During the struggle, officers shot the suspect, resulting in his death. One officer sustained a minor graze wound.

There is one video out there where the Hunters get a gun pulled on them. This is the real deal. He knew his life was over and made that choice.

Additional info: The suspect, 67, arrived at a DoubleTree Suites hotel in Tukwila at around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday under the impression that he was meeting two young girls, ages 7 and 11, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) says. He knocked on a hotel room door, where he was met by multiple SPD officers with the Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce who were undercover and waiting to arrest him. As police opened the door, the suspect pulled out a gun as one of the officers tried to wrest the firearm away from the suspect, video shows. A gunshot rang out as two other officers could be seen unloading several rounds onto the suspect, killing him at the scene.

So he was showing up to meet an underage kid and he had a gun? What did he think he was going to use the gun for?

He was a retired US Navy captain. He was the commander of the Navy hospital at Guantanamo Bay. He had been investigated for similar things in the past. He was arrested in Texas for the same thing.
