I have a 250k infinity pool, with a back porch that has full floor to ceiling windows with a unique no pillar construction, and guess what? I still paid the 2500$ and put up a pool fence. My kid is worth that safety net.

I wish I could get myself to like swimming pools in these big glass rooms but I just can't. I really need to be able to see nature directly, the glass bubbles in FL always bugged me. But I know so many people that love them, as you clearly do, so I know it's just different strokes for different folks. At the end of the day, it's all about finding your happy place, which is looks like you did!!

Brutal heat and humidity makes this uncomfortable/indoable for 9 months out of the year, and you have to drive everywhere at long distances or in heavy traffic. Aside from that, sure.

Why didn’t your architect or interior designer plan for end tables and lamps? You can still have a clean modern look without having a sterile look. Your space looks unfinished. It is a beautiful “family compound” Florida style.
