I have with my own eyes witnessed Gerrards family been treated like true royalty at Anfield during the veterans matches. He’s held in the HIGHEST regard of any human when he walks into Anfield. King Kenny, Ian and John Barnes are there almost every week but when Gerrard comes it’s not that often- the whole place comes to a standstill for him and his family.
