I’m not a vegan, but I would never bash anyone who chooses to live that lifestyle. What confuses me is why some vegans are so obsessed with making their vegetables taste like meat since meat is so objectionable for them, I am perplexed by this. So this man is making a vegan pulled pork by shredding banana peels instead of using actual smoked pork. I have to give him credit for using actual real clean ingredients like the banana peels and the spices. Something tells me that he actually believes that what he’s making is going to actually taste like pulled pork. For me, the look on his grandson’s face says it all. I know he’s trying to be nice and let his grandfather save face but I don’t think he actually enjoyed it. To me, he looks actually disgusted by it, I can tell by his comment about the “unique texture.” I’m not a vegan, but for the sake of enjoying different types of food, I think I would actually this. However I would approach it as a new food and not a replacement for pulled pork. I’ve never tasted any vegan replacement that actually tastes like what it’s replacing so that aspect for me is unrealistic. Is there a vegan replacement that you enjoy, would you make this?

I actually agree that Disney movies programmed little girls. But NOT the way she’s describing it. Disney taught girls that Prince Charming was supposed to save her. He’s not your ex, he’s not blocking your destiny, he’s just doing his job. You can go around it like a normal human being. There is NO WAY he can do his job better to accommodate you.
