this is wild to see. like, we're actually watching the ability to write in cursive die in our faces.

Good, it's not needed anymore. Cursive is nice and looks fancy, but can get very annoying to read if in large chunks if the person doesn't do it right.

And nothing of value was lost.

All my kids middle school spelling tests are in cursive. It will survive!

And a generation that doesn’t know what a signature is

i'm more concerned about them not being able to write at all
