This is shocking. NESO have confirmed to the Times that the initial assessment of 23 June *was* that “constraints were breached and system security was compromised.” Exactly as my whistleblowers alleged. And yet in this leaked recording the CEO dismissed ‘my’ allegations as not true. A senior manager said whistleblowers had ‘let down’ the company. When NESO had documents which showed *in black and white* that this was worth investigating. Then they tried to deny they had criticised the whistleblowers… before the recording was released to show they had. We await the final findings of what happened but there is clearly a cover-up culture at NESO. I have had more brickbats thrown at me this last few weeks than I have ever had. But the whistleblowers have shown true courage in the national interest. We must match it by taking a clear-eyed look at grid stability and how NESO is being run.

The Chief Health Officer is now trying to claim the Covid vaccine reduced all cause mortality. I.e. deaths from other causes apart from Covid. This is despite the fact that deaths jumped from 162,000 to 172,000 in 2021 and to 190,000 in 2022. Seriously you just can’t make this stuff up. When asked why deaths jumped they can’t give a straight answer. They are still looking into it. If they are still looking into it how they rule out the vaccines? In 2021 there were only 300 more Covid deaths than 2020 so Covid can’t explain the rise in deaths. It’s worth noting the jump in deaths occurred from May onwards, one month after the vaccine rollout. They are just insulting our intelligence at this point. The truth is that they are lying. #auspol

However, NESO management are setting the terms themselves, and it will not look into whether security standards were breached. Crucially, control room operators not selected by NESO management will also have to make themselves known to NESO managers to give evidence. Remarkably, senior NESO managers already told staff that the whistleblowers 'let down' the company and that the allegations are not true. This is troubling. Everyone agrees we need a truly independent and impartial investigation. This must be rectified, anonymity must be granted, and their concerns must be heard.

🐹: A few days ago, I went to see our members. But the members have changed a lot. Or maybe not? Were they always like that? I don't think so. 🐹: They were looking at food, saying, "Hey, this has this many calories, and this one has that many calories." Like, "Is this really a few hundred calories? There is no coincidence that BJP gives direction to the NC that a drive has to be carried out here. Who does the Forest Department come under? This started in April in RS Pura, then in Kathua and now here. So, this is like systematic planning. BJP gives them directions and NC implements it...NC should take responsibility for this. They cannot claim "UT, UT" for everything..."

The Gulf States getting together to condemn Iran is a huge first step towards stability in the region. What really intrigues me with the community of investors and my staff in the area, is that the future is looking quite promising. Is there lots of noise in the region? Absolutely, but I think the signals are still there to lay the groundwork. So by the time this war is over, you can expect me to be one of the first to continue on my investments and goals to bring the future into the present.

A lot of people have been asking where I am and if I am ok. I am preparing. In two weeks, I will begin my first vacation in nearly two years. I won't be spending it on a beach. I won't be traveling abroad. I won't be resting. Instead, I will walk home. From Maidan and the Alley of Heroes in Kyiv to Kramatorsk. Hundreds of kilometers. Roughly 50 kilometers every day. In the summer heat, where temperatures regularly reach 28°C and above. I have my own health challenges, and there will be days when every step hurts. But compared to what my soldiers endure every day, that discomfort is insignificant. I am doing this because it is easy for the frontline to feel distant when you are not living beside it. For my soldiers, there is no distance. The war is present in every day, every decision, and every kilometer of ground they defend. But my soldiers are still there. They are still defending #Ukraine. They are still living in frontline villages and cities. They are still carrying the weight of a war that most people only see through a screen. Donbas is Ukraine. And Donbas is not some distant place on a map. It is home. My soldiers are former prisoners. Even if they are granted a vacation, it does not look like yours or mine. They will still remain close. They do not get to simply walk away from it. So I am asking for your help. This walk is about awareness, but awareness alone does not keep soldiers alive. Equipment does. Vehicles do. Communications do. Drones do. Recently, our only ground drone struck a mine and was destroyed. That wasn't just a piece of equipment. It was a lifeline. It delivered water. It carried supplies. It reduced risk to the soldiers who depended on it. Now it is gone. And what we have in the field is what we have. That is not a position any unit should be forced into. And Donbas is not some distant place on a map. It is home. My soldiers are former prisoners. Even if they are granted a vacation, it does not look like yours or mine. They will still remain close. They do not get to simply walk away from it. So I am asking for your help. This walk is about awareness, but awareness alone does not keep soldiers alive. Equipment does. Vehicles do. Communications do. Drones do. Recently, our only ground drone struck a mine and was destroyed. That wasn't just a piece of equipment. It was a lifeline. It delivered water. It carried supplies. It reduced risk to the soldiers who depended on it. Now it is gone. And what we have in the field is what we have. That is not a position any unit should be forced into. My goal is to raise a minimum of $50,000 during this journey so that my battalion can continue operating, continue adapting, and continue bringing our people home.
