I agree. Conservatives do not have a patriotism problem. We have a problem with a media and political class that treats disagreement with Liberal policy as disloyalty to Canada. Pierre Poilievre wants a stronger Canada: higher productivity, more investment, secure borders, responsible spending, affordable energy and a government that serves citizens instead of lecturing them. Patriotism is not blaming the United States for every Canadian failure. It means fixing our weaknesses so Canada can stand on its own feet and negotiate from strength. Pierre has spent years warning that debt, weak productivity, lost investment and anti-energy policies would leave Canada poorer and more vulnerable. Those warnings were ignored. Now the same people responsible want to question his loyalty. Supporting Pierre is not turning our backs on Canada. It is demanding that Canada live up to its potential.

It's time that liberals show some maturity. TDS explains 1.5 years of issues. What about the last decade that you guys have stuck your thumb up your a$$ and your brain in neutral. Twenty-five years ago, I remember noticing Canada slowly starting to change. Toronto, for example, had its own vibe and its own identity. By the early 2000s, that started to change. More and more, the things we built, promoted and celebrated seemed designed to imitate American cities rather than reflect Toronto itself. Yonge-Dundas Square was constantly sold as our own version of Times Square, which always struck me as strange. Over time, we started importing more than American architecture and branding. We absorbed more of the culture, politics, media language and social divisions too. Canada has obviously always been heavily influenced by the United States, but there’s a difference between influence and slowly losing your own identity. Looking back, I think that distinction started becoming much more noticeable around that period.
