Building a personal knowledge base for my agents is increasingly where I spend my time these days. Like Andrej Karpathy, I also use Obsidian for my MD vaults. What's different in my approach is that I curate research papers on a daily basis and have actually tuned a Skill for months to find high-signal, relevant papers. I was reviewing and curating papers manually for some time, but now it's all automated as it has gotten so good at capturing what I consider the best of the best. There are so many papers these days, so this is a big deal. You all get to benefit from that with the papers I feature in my timeline and on DAIR.AI. The papers are indexed using tobi lutke qmd cli tool (all of it in markdown files along with useful metadata). So good for semantic search and surfacing insights, unlike anything out there. I am a visual person, so I then started to experiment with how to leverage this personal knowledge base of research papers inside my new interactive artifact generator (mcp tools inside my agent orchestrator system). The result is what you see in the clip. 100s of papers with all sorts of insights visualized. I keep track of research papers daily, so believe me when I tell you that this system is absolutely insane at surfacing insights. This is the result of months of tinkering on how to index research and leverage agent automations for wikification and robust documentation. But this is just the beginning. The visual artifact (which is interactive too) can be changed dynamically as I please. I can prompt my agent to throw any data at it. I can add different views to the data. Different interactions. I feel like this is the most personalized research system I have ever built and used, and it's not even close. The knowledge that the agents are able to surface from this basic setup is already extremely useful as I experiment with new agentic engineering concepts. I feel like this knowledge layer and the higher-level ones I am working on will allow me to maximize other automation tools like autoresearch. The research is only as good as the research questions. And the research questions are only as good as the insights the agents have access to. Where I am spending time now is on how to make this more actionable. I am obsessed about the search problem here. The automations, autoresearch, ralph research loop (I built one months ago) are easier to build but are only as good as what you feed them. With what I see with my eyes in Morocco an African country pls as a Nigerian stop consoling your self with the word ‘ we are the giant of Africa’ There is no pothole in any of Moroccan major road and there is no sand sand roads even in the villages … the kingship is connected to the people and the system is working … note no power outage oo even in the villages and you will not be idle in this country except you are lazy ….. This is how every major road is we have been to almost every major state and the housing system is nothing to compare with African standard … infact I see reason why Moroccans see them selves as Europeans . And of course why will they insult the kingship when every sector is working well and basic amenities are been provided ! Chai I weep for Nigeria my country ! I speak for everyone when i say no one respects your rank I actually dont mind playing into these people because they are inflated from cheese strategies so they will usually just end up inting the game away even if they get a small lead from it. If this is you that plays like this please learn real jungling. you can do this if youre adaptable but forcing it every game like this player is low elo

My heart is broken. Bob Weir has passed away at the age of 78. I finally made my way to see him live in June of 2022 at Dodger Stadium. I went to the concert alone because no one I knew was into The Grateful Dead. Not even my parents. Go see your favorite icons while they are still here. And thank you to my anon discord bestie LAD for inspiring this concert. It will stay with me a lifetime.

This is one of my turntables for Bumblebee's damage variant from Transformers Rise of the Beasts. We use renders like these to critique our work on the characters in a sterile environment before putting them into shots. Normally, fans don't get to see these behind the scenes looks at our characters, but I convinced the marketing team to also include this turntable in the official breakdown for the film as I think it is super cool to see how the characters are made and brought to life. I have so much behind the scenes work to share about Transformers but unfortunately 99% of it is under NDA so the odds are that no one else will ever see them, as unfortunate as that is.

Update on my foot: Diligent physical therapy and a lifelong healthy diet/exercise routine has my body healing better than doctors expected. I can pretty much walk normally at the moment! Only a tiny bit of pain every step. There are still unknowns about the future: Will I ever get to run again? How long before the arthritis shows up? WHEN will I need more procedures done, not if. This is a lifelong injury. I’ll never recover to a pre accident place, but I’m progressing very well for the moment. I want to be able to play with my future kids at the park, but whether I’ll be able to even jog when playing tag is still an unknown. Still a long journey ahead, but I’m committed to putting in the day to day work. Thanks for all the support ❤️

I mean you do have a very good point, however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring.
