My dog is like this, rescued from the pound after 2 years being in a fighting ring, the poor guy lost a bit out of his ear. We’ve given him a loving and warm home but he’s still not good around other dogs no matter what we do. So we know better not to bring him places he shouldn’t be, and do the best we can to love and care for him. He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me

@PuppiesIover As a shelter worker this is very true, not every dog is made for every owner. There has to be an ability for the owner to meet the dogs energy levels, ability to assert themselves as Alpha. Also all dogs of the same breed do not carry the same energy in some cases.

@PuppiesIover This is true but not in the way they react those dogs have minds on their own some are just more territorial than others and it isn’t something the owner can control. Some aren’t around other dogs much. Don’t judge they are receiving care at the vet because they are cared for.

@PuppiesIover My dog would just sit there and watch too.. Probably wondering what the heck is wrong with the ones acting out. A properly raised dog would never act that way.

@PuppiesIover Dog is just excited, my husky/retriever mix is the sweetest angel on earth to any person and animal, she gets this way when she is dying to play with another dog or cat.

@PuppiesIover Some dogs are reactive no matter the training. I’m fully aware of what my dog is. I’ll call the vet & let them know we are there & to let me know when they are ready. We walk thru the back door. I don’t put my dog in a situation where it can end badly.
