THIS ISN’T A MISTAKE; IT’S OUTRIGHT CONTEMPT. Aleema Khanum has been detained for 30 days and shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail. Yet FIR 96/23 was filed at Sarwar Road Police Station, while the detention order references Race Course. When authorities can’t even get the police station’s name right while...

We just got out of jail in Brussels. What a day! Huge thank you to Lois McLatchie Miller who handled all the craziness with perfection. She’s incredibly brave and put up with a lot of harassment, which is why we called police in the first place. 4 police vans and about 14 police showed up. I guess they thought it was easier to take care of us than the angry mob, so we were taken to a police station — after refusing to remove our signs and walk away — and told we were being charged with what translates as causing a disturbance of the peace. We were then handcuffed and transported to another police station. All of our possessions were taken and logged, I had to strip down to my underwear for a search, and we were put into jail cells. Thankfully, I was able to speak with Lois through the bars, as she was in the cell right next door. 😂 And after all that, guess what? No charges filed! That hasn’t stopped them from confiscating my signs, which I am told will be sent for destruction. In my opinion, this is abuse of authority and state-sanctioned censorship. We’re looking at legal options. Thank you to ADF International who I understand had lawyers at the police station while we were locked up. This behavior can’t be allowed to stand. If you wish to support me, I really appreciate your help: You can also donate to the Alliance Defending Freedom International. They do amazing work all around the globe, and have been instrumental in my freedom of speech case against the Australian government.

Can the police harass a citizen even after a court stay order based on mere allegations? Or is his only “fault” that he is Muslim, and therefore treated as an accused by default? The victim’s family has shared copies of the High Court stay order along with videos of the alleged police actions. According to them: Haji Firoz Khan (Jhijhana and nearby areas, Shamli district) was slapped with false rape and murder allegations and has been jailed twice Once, he was allegedly picked up from his home without an arrest warrant and jailed for 2 months. The second time, he spent 4 months and 10 days in jail. After securing a home stay from the Allahabad High Court, the order was reportedly shown to Jhijhana police, who allegedly said they “do not accept Allahabad High Court orders.” Despite this, the family claims their property was seized, and police repeatedly entered their home. The family further alleges that when the victim’s son posted a video on Instagram and it went viral, police came to detain him and falsely accused him of causing an accident involving five people. At the police station, they allege threats to beat women, verbal abuse, pressure to delete videos, and intimidation for recording inside the station. This case raises serious concerns about the rule of law, contempt of judicial orders, and targeted harassment of a minority family. We urge DGP UP to order an impartial, high-level inquiry and ensure justice. Shamli Police why were court orders allegedly ignored? Such actions are shameful and undermine public trust in law enforcement. Justice must prevail. The law must be equal for all.

It’s painfully obvious this guy has no idea what he’s talking about. He’s acting like he just discovered fire because he spent a few hours sitting with the leftover scraps of the IRGC and now thinks he’s in the room where it all goes down. Let’s be clear: the Islamic Republic of Iran, as it exists today, under this name and this exact power structure, is never going to be integrated into the global economy. Not now! Not ever! It won’t be a partner. It won’t behave like a normal state. It simply can’t. Its DNA is fundamentally broken. This idea was born in crisis, and it survives on crisis. Crisis isn’t a flaw, it’s the business model. A regime that can’t even make peace with its own people, isn’t about to reach some grand understanding with those it calls enemies. It doesn’t want to, and even in some hypothetical scenario where it suddenly did, it doesn’t have the capacity. This isn’t a policy gap. It’s structural. Permanent. Nothing about this structure is normal. It has spent decades paying enormous costs to stay exactly on this path, because it knows that deviating from its ideological foundation is existential suicide. That’s not something you can negotiate away. And yet, some Americans keep falling for the same illusion, the same delusion that, before the Iranian Revolution, led them to believe Ruhollah Khomeini was just a backward cleric they could influence. The CIA flew to Neauphle-le-Château, sat across from him, and walked away thinking he wasn’t that dangerous. They were dead wrong then, and anyone making the same mistake today is just as delusional.

🚨 This is incredibly sketchy. In this video, ICE/Border Patrol agents order a man to “get back” while he’s standing on a public sidewalk, separated from their vehicle by a snow pile, simply because he starts asking the detained person basic identifying information. You can clearly see the man walking along the sidewalk, approaching the vehicle, and calmly informing the detained person of their rights. He even drops to his knees, one of the least threatening positions possible, while trying to get the person’s name and information so their family can be notified. That’s when an agent notices what’s happening and begins yelling for him to move back, despite the fact that he’s not interfering, not approaching the vehicle, and not violating any clear safety boundary. The agent then escalates it further, ordering him to go all the way down the street. Here’s the telling part: the agent does not give the same order to the person standing next to the man filming. Only the individual attempting to gather the detainee’s information is singled out. This isn’t about “officer safety.” It looks a lot like an attempt to isolate the person being detained, cut off outside help, and prevent family or legal contacts from being made. When law enforcement starts pushing people away from public spaces for exercising basic rights, and only targets those trying to help detainees connect with others, that’s not enforcement, it’s intimidation. And it raises serious questions about what they don’t want witnessed.

#WATCH | Chandigarh | Jaswinder Kaur Bath, wife of Colonel Pushpinder Singh Bath, who was allegedly assaulted by Punjab Police personnel in Patiala, says, "We went to meet DGP Gaurav Yadav, but he was busy. We waited for one and a half hours, but then he left without meeting us. He is an army officer's son, but he still did so... I am raising my voice just because my son said that he would not stay in this country as it is not worth staying. I had to prove to him that justice would be given... Then, we went to meet the governor, and he had tears in his eyes when I spoke to him and when I showed him the pictures and the brutality. He called the DGP and told him that FIR is my right with all the names and to please do what is needed. The governor then told us that if the FIR is not registered, we should get back to him. I want to thank the governor for standing up with us. I came to know through the media that SSP Nanak Singh had said that a magisterial inquiry had been set up, but the FIR could not be changed... Today, when everyone was standing up with me, all the politicians started calling me, but I didn't pick up a single call as this was not a political fight. They cannot say that we were under the influence of alcohol as it is there in the (medical) report of a government hospital... A police inspector told me that we cannot add the names of some police personnel in the FIR as they have been awarded as encounter specialists by the DIG and are about to be promoted. They said that police will do the needful but cannot name them in FIR ..." (21/03)

🔴Just Now. Henry Nowak’s father’s full family statement. This is both heartbreaking and utterly harrowing. Should be watched until the end and shared everywhere. “The police did not believe him, he was dragged across the gravel, handcuffed and arrested.” “He told the police 4 times he had been stabbed. One police officer said ‘I don’t think you have mate’. He told the police he couldn’t breathe, 9 times” “Instead of being treated like a victim, police arrested him for assault and read him his rights. That was the last thing he heard. Henry did not die with dignity. He was not believed.” “The way he was treated was inhumane and degrading” ** “His murderer however WAS afforded decency. He WAS believed. He was NOT handcuffed when arrested. He was NOT handcuffed when transported to the police station. As far as we understand, he was NEVER handcuffed AT ALL. And while under arrest for Henry’s murder, police even took him to the kitchen so he could choose what he would like to eat. … the contrast is unbearable” ** “This is not a case about Sikhism, this is not a case about racism. This is a case about murder. People should be able to walk openly through the streets of Britain carrying a 21cm blade.” “Today Henry was believed” ** His murderer has just been sentenced to 21 years in prison. My heart broke in two listening to this. There must be a full investigation into the Police misconduct. Rest in peace Henry. May his memory be a blessing. Sending love and prayers to the family.
