NOT ~EMERGENCY! These scenes are from Dilsukhnagar area in Hyderabad, Telangana from just a while ago. Hundreds of policemen are marching on the streets not because of any serious criminal activity but because they want to ensure that there are no students on the streets. Unemployed youth have taken to the streets on the area for a flash protest yesterday and today…! They were questioning about the promised job calendar and jobs. Even the party senior leader Rahul Gandhi met with the unemployed youth just before the Telangana elections and promised 2 lakh jobs per year. Two years after the party came to power, all they got is this!!! Congress and emergency style of governance is probably an unwritten rule. Congress under Revanth everyday gives you a déjà vu!

We are contesting this election against the LDF, which is fully supported by the BJP. On one side is the UDF; on the other is an alliance of the LDF and the BJP. Many years ago, a well-known economist spoke about the existence of a hidden force in the market while explaining economic principles. But here in the Keralam election, there are hidden hands of the BJP. And the BJP does not want the UDF here because the only force that challenges them in the country is the Congress party. We have an ideological difference with the BJP-RSS. The BJP understands that the LDF can never challenge them at the national level. #WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana: Congress and BJP have been absolutely lying to the OBCs of Telangana. Congress promised 42% reservation for the OBCs during elections. BJP now says that they will give reservations only if there are no Muslims in the OBCs. Congress has till now not cleared if Muslims are included in the 42% bill that has been sent to the President for approval. To expose the lies of these national parties and to make sure we get some kind of clarity from both these national parties, I have decided to take up a 72-hour hunger strike beginning tomorrow at 10 am which will be ending on 7th August at 10 am. The government has not given me permission. We have approached the High Court. We believe that this satyagraha which will be taken up in a very Gandhian and peaceful manner, the HC will support us to express the voice of OBCs. There are about 112 OBC communities..."

Ladies and gentlemen, I am extremely proud of this woman. I salute her courage, boldness, and her ability to put every BJP leader, worker, or sympathizer on the mat. TMC is decimated in Bengal, but she is a tigress. She has come to Delhi and is roaring in the powerhouse of BJP. What we hear from BJP—oh, she is so uncouth, arrogant, bla bla. TMC ruled Bengal with an iron hand for 15 years. There were no protests in Bengal because no one dared to come on the road. BJP won Bengal because it was aided by the election commission and the judiciary, and more importantly, the general class and OBCs turned a blind eye. Independent narratives were built so that nothing works in favor of TMC in the media. If it had been BJP instead of TMC, they would have vanished without a trace. Look at AAP— they were routed in Delhi and are disastrous in Punjab, but they brought the mighty BJP to its knees via CJP. The truth is, BJP has become a bunch of vested interests ruling in patches. The only consistent thing they have is Hindu-Muslim, and that's it. They have not built any grassroots cadre and have made ABVP, VHP, and Bajrang Dal toothless. Despite a brute majority in Parliament, they are still begging— 12 years on and still begging. They fear their core voters and workers more than the opposition. The RSS cadres in the government are raking moolah. No new talent. I salute you, Mahua Moitra Ji.

Remember the RTC driver in Jagityal, Telangana who lost his job for speaking about paddy procurement yesterday?? This is exactly what he was speaking about! He asked the government to focus on this instead of doing naam ke vaste dharnas on fuel price hikes. These are the scenes at paddy procurement centers in most part of Telangana today. This one is from Gajwel! Farmers have been literally begging the government to procure the food grains for over a month. With the last night’s sudden thunderstorms, most food grains are in drainages. Almost six months of their backbreaking hard work, monetary investment, blood & sweat - is now in the DRAINAGE!!! All because the Telangana Congress Government couldn’t finish the procurement process of paddy & maize on time. In a country that is still very much dependent on agriculture, in a country where malnutrition is predominant and hunger is a daily story - this is the importance food grain procurement is given! Trust me, this is not the scene in Gajwel alone. Every single procurement center - at least 20/30 percent food grains are in the drains!

India And Indians!!! In Gummalakshmipuram village, Andhra Pradesh, warden Hema carried a student suffering from illness on her shoulder for 6 kilometers to the hospital. There are many places in rural Andhra Pradesh where roads are still a distant dream. This agency area of Parvathipuram Manyam district, is from the Araku region. It is a common practice to use “dolis” or to physically carry patients in emergencies. This child is currently receiving treatment in the ICU at Parvatipuram Hospital. As we are headed towards celebrating our 80th Independence Day, there are people still suffering for basics. At the same time, a majority of us who can fight for them are busy with religion & caste wars. Hema is a shining example of gems of humans we have in this country, it is also pathetic how they are left to lead lives like these. Salute to Hema 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 And I can only wish for a better tomorrow for a lot Indians living in such conditions.

The issue here is that the Congress party is demanding some clarity on the government's stand on these issues. There have been a number of reports in the newspapers that the US is objecting to various tariffs. For example, they are complaining about the agricultural subsidies given in the form of MSP to our farmers and so on, and that they want India to reduce them. But we know that our farmers are already living in very desperate conditions, and if their products are swamped by agricultural imports, they could have some consequences. What the Congress party leadership was trying to accomplish today was to demand the government to come and make a clarification statement in the Lok Sabha. Parliament is the platform where the nation gets to hear from the government as to what they are planning to do.
