Half of my family is Muslim; this doesn’t offend me at all. Even if someone burned a million copies of the Qur’an, it wouldn’t change its value. Actually, burning religious texts is a recognized and respectful way to dispose of them rather than throwing them in the trash. Holding a pig’s head does not diminish the religion in any way. And if the person is indeed Jewish, pork is forbidden in Judaism as well. The issue here isn’t religion, it’s deliberate provocation. What he is doing reflects personal instability, not faith.
