Advertising is a lost art. I remember watching this as a kid and my take away was that cool dudes had mentos, so I wanted some.

The guy who sat on the bench definitely has grounds for a negligence lawsuit. The painter was at fault.

I used to mess with the Mentos fruit chews so hard as a kid. Probably the biggest source of my cavities. They never got love in the commercials like the mint flavored ones though.

This is in the 90s commercials Mount Rushmore along with Muzzy and Sears “It’s gonna be a hot one”.

No one ate them that way though. We all knew the jingle bit who tried to flick one off their front teeth trying to imitate the commercials.

They should never update this jingle. Its the perfect song. Its like an archaic tribal drum beat to call there tribe to war.
