This is shocking! Five Muslim Students returning to Jamia area from Jantar Mantar were detained by the police near Jamia Millia Islamia (NAAC A++ Grade Central Univ) and taken to the police station. Social activist Zeba Khan Zeba khan (saista pravin) and the reporter Afzal Alam Md Afzal Alam chased the police vehicle and freed all the Students. Hello Delhi Police, Why were they detained, is it a crime to participate in Jantar Mantar protest? Why are young Students from the Jamia area being treated like criminals just for participating in the protest?

What blatant arrogance!.. Police are arriving to make arrests wearing neither uniforms nor nameplates, and the Delhi Police have barged into a political party office without permission. This hasty action against one of the faces of the students agitation, former JNU Students' Union President and SFI leader Aishe (ঐশী) is purely retaliation for her leading the historic protest that forced the Central Government to yield. A kinner arrived at the stage of Jharkhand students protest and gave 50000 rupees for the food of the students 🙌 This is a perfect example of what a social inclusion looks like and not those abuses from LGBT we saw from Jantar Mantar the other day. I met multiple students at RML Hospital who were injured during today's protest at Jantar Mantar. Narendra Modi-led government unleashed pellet bullets, tear gas, and lathi charges on students. Real numbers of injured students is much higher. This is the true face of the BJP - subjecting thousands of ordinary students to brutality for demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. Many injured students said they felt abandoned as the violence unfolded. They believe better coordination and a dedicated SOS mechanism were needed, especially while organizers were meeting BJP ministers in this crucial time.

The brutal and cruel attitude of this Modi government was witnessed in the national capital yesterday. Students from all over the country are here to protest over the NEET and CBSE exams. The students of India have genuine issues. They are holding a peaceful protest over those issues. Is this the way to deal with a peaceful protest? This government is scared and completely insensitive. We are going to raise this issue again in the House today. We have already moved an adjournment motion condemning the lathi charge, asking for the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan and asking for a clear-cut action on NEET and CBSE exam leaks. Modi is totally anti-student and anti-youth. He does not understand the psychology and pain of the students and youth of this country. He is completely responsible for yesterday's incident. Whenever there is a public agitation and people are expressing their sentiments, the government should call them and try to address their concerns. Instead, it resorts to lathi charges and tear gas. Even in many parts of Gujarat, people came out to support the students and protest peacefully No protesters tried to attack police vehicles No protesters abused Hindu gods The police allowed the protest to continue even without permits, with one condition: don’t block or disturb traffic When the protest ended, the protesters gave roses to the police as a gesture of appreciation for their kindness Protest is good for democracy, especially when students are demanding accountability But when students become puppets for someone else’s political agenda, it is no longer a student protest, it becomes a political protest Students should stay away from those people
