That's a ridiculous charge for such a minor infraction. Also I'm pretty sure that that is covered under his first amendment rights

Why’s it so hard for people who have a position of power to be normal and talk to people in a normal tone without yelling at them like a child. So the guy flips off someone in court. The judge delays the entire court session to just yell and threaten a person. Judge was more disrespectful to the court than the guy was in my opinion. It’s a finger and words. Unreal

That seems like an excellent example of why you should flip the bird to the courts. It's also your First Amendment right to do it. Even in a courthouse. This has been successfully defended.
