Honest to God, one of my favorite shows of all time. It just hit so many chords and struck so many feelings. And for them to portray the queer point of view so dead on, it was just truly wonderful. I would watch it again and again.

Is this show worth watching? I’m rather tired of gay stories always ending in death or breakups can we have a happy story for once

despite it ending sad in a way, the story is quite beautiful. heartbreaking throughout, but beautiful. it’s centered on history and what gay people had to endure from the 50’s up to the 80’s. i’ve never seen a story like this told before, and i think it’s worth a watch.
