Let me get this right. A man can't say no to abortion, and if he doesn't want the baby, he can't say yes to one. A man doesn't get an opinion because it's her body, right? I think this could possibly be one of the most complex topics i have ever thought about. I think that abortion should be avoided at all costs. Especially with the declining birth rates in the west. However, forcing a Woman to go through the court system to be able to abort is also abhorrent. So a middle ground has to be found. Perhaps in the reverse situation we could have a legal document exempting the father from child support if he is adamant that he wants her to have an abortion. But i also pose the question as to why birth control wasn't used. I do agree with his point that if the man wants to be a father that he needs to be with someone that wants to be a mother. It is something that I would clarify with a person within the first few dates, let a lone already being in a relationship. If someone didn't want to be a mother then I would choose to date someone else. I feel that this probably doesn't happen too often in real life, or the man will just go along with whatever the woman wants. Which is generally the chivalrous thing to do.
