This kid is the future! Wild!

People who don’t play guitar have no idea how hard it is to do what she’s doing. That being said, majority of people do not listen to this type of music as it’s just a flurry of notes, technically impressive to fellow guitarists, but meaningless to the average listener. I hope she finds her own melodic voice!

I have come to the conclusion, that maybe kids like this aren’t. They can follow instructions… clearly she has talent. But of the thousands of these videos, when are they going to come up with their own songs that would impress us?

I swear I was struggling to colour within the lines at this age.

Technique wise, super impressive. But... Yngwie Malmsteen is a great guitarist but I cannot name one song of his. On the other hand, Edward VanHalen has a huge catalog of songs we all know. Just saying.

That’s undeniably impressive, but part of me feels a little sad watching it. I just hope she genuinely enjoys what she’s doing and isn’t feeling too much pressure to perform. Most of all, I hope she’s happy.

Teaching a kid so young how to play the guitar like that is the most idiotic career plan today. We have been here from the very end of the 80’s and work’s dried up, suddenly, forcefully and after a small recovery post-Covid, very quickly diminishing in chunks to 0.
