See Im NOT about to condone none of this. The gatekeeping aint good enough for me. Our hair is sacred and to see this is very disturbing. So we just say fuck the Sistas that have made this their craft? Who have made a living off of making us feel beautiful after we leave their shop/ house? Who were our therapy session? Who we built connections/bonds with? Who told us how to properly CARE for our hair? Why are we taking from our Sistas? More money going back into the pockets of the same ppl who degraded our hair and weaponized it against us. And to pay $600 for these below average braids is the worst part. When I was in school and I did something bad, the one thing that I was afraid of was that others would find out I got caught doing something so stupid. Back when I was a kid, that was the worst thing that could happen, The other kids would clown us and make fun of us until we left school. For me it was the equivalent to the smelly kid or the one who soiled his pants at school, it was that bad. I wasn’t too concerned about my parents because they were busy supporting us, they weren’t home much and during that time they barely spoke English. So if a teacher called my parents, they wouldn’t know what the school staff was saying anyways, my parents would ask me what they wanted and I would just make something up. Regardless of the method, I think we can all agree that behavior like this is getting more and more common and shouldn’t be tolerated. Either way, what would you think is the solution for this? Was the guard crossing the line for tazing him? I think she shouldn’t have done that.

🐰 it’s been 8 years since i debuted and i might’ve had this kind of hair before but in my memory, this is the first time i’m slicking my hair back so much…i did my hair like this yesterday and it was really unfamiliar to me so i was like “would it look nice?” but it looks nice, i think it suits me 🐰 “how do you feel trying this hairstyle? do you think slicked back hair is better or hair with bangs down is better?” both are good 🐰 in the past, during our early debut days…since i had a bit of cheek fat, i liked my bangs down better because if you have fat on your face, your face looks rounder when you push your hair back so i wanted to have my hair down and look a little sharper but as i’m older now and my baby fat has disappeared, pushed back hair looks good on me too so i like both 🐰 rather than liking one better, i think it’s good to do what fits the place the best…when you think of dolce & gabbana, i don’t know what it’s like for you guys but when i think of dolce & gabbana, i kinda think of the sexiness of a man so i felt like slicked back hair would suit it better, i like this hair too
