This woman was having a rough day and needed to indulge a little. So she reaches for her emergency chocolate syrup that she keeps in the car and gives it a shake to mix it up. It sprays all over her and her car. After the initial shock wears off she starts venting about everything that has gone wrong for her this year, she states now her clothes and her car is ruined and doesn’t know what to do about it. Is it possible she just had too much on her mind and this was the icing on the cake, or is this generation too fragile with their emotions because chocolate syrup will wash out of her clothes and her car?

Today is #WorldCancerDay and this is Liz, in a video recorded just days after she had been told she had Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour. She knew her cancer had a five year survival rate of just 15% but as she made this video for her peers to support her application for head student she reassured them she would be fine. Liz died less than 10 months after this video was made, exactly 10 months after she was diagnosed. Aged 17. Liz was passionate about changing the world for others, in her life as you will hear in this video and in her death by donating her body to Glasgow University for research. Liz was amazing. She battled so hard but without a treatment that is effective against DSRCT she was fighting a battle she couldn’t win. Please help us change things for others.
