So you are teaching children where you are from doesn't at all mean you can aspire to anything. My son went to a rough Secondary school.. frankly he hated it and had a lot of bullying. He left school and joined the Navy and made his way up the ranks. Doing very well he has one son and he decided that son, he would like to go to a Private School. Not Eton standard! But his son is a shy, quiet, reclusive boy. So, he has thrived at his school. I am so proud of them. BUT ALONG COMES LABOUR AND SAYS.. you started off with a lowly and rough school... you know your place and stay in it. What is that teaching actually? You stay down where you began... we don't support you doing well. I am disgusted and appalled @bphillipsonMP ... you are not ashamed of your high salary. You have made private ed more elite. Now private schools have zero reason to share their facilities with the public and local state schools. How ever parents that can't afford private school anymore can afford tutors instead. Only Labour could achieve the opposite of its aims.
