Rebecca Luna has now been put to death in Canada. She was 49 years old, and leaves behind two daughters. Three years ago she was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s. She had about five to seven more years before her cognitive ability declined dramatically, according to her doctors. She opted to die instead, so a doctor killed her. They call this Medical Assistance in Dying.
