Maaaan I used to be a mymind user back in 2023, I’m happy they’re still shipping at this level of quality. This is so smooth

why not in 2025?

I was at a point in my life when I was deep in the productivity loop, trying every gadget and app in search of the perfect one. Maybe I should give it another try, I remember how easy it was to collect things everywhere, even on iOS. But the problem was always the same for me: I just wanted everything in one app, which is why I ended up using only Notion back then. Bad choice 🫠

I feel that, having been there, it honestly just comes down to what your needs are and sticking to one. It would be cool to bring some of the basic features of Notion into my mind, like pages and databases, as well as writing tools like toggles and some integrations such as Google Drive. But then again, that might split the focus of the app. Sometimes less is more, and although it may sound ideal to have everything in one place, it rarely pans out with increased efficiency. Kind of like Notion, where you can do everything and you end up doing nothing. Interesting thing to think about.

Yep, I’m sure the ideal way is to use specific tools for specific needs. But you’ve got to stick with the ones that feels best for you. I switched so many tools and wasted so much time moving notes and stuff around that, at some point, I just lost the will to take notes or build a second brain. Now I just send links to myself on WhatsApp, bookmark things, and take notes in Apple Notes when I need something to last. It’s a mess, but it’s way better than endlessly searching for the perfect tool.
