This video made me remember when my cousin sister husband got married to his second wife secretly and we only found out months later when his daughter was going through his gallery. A first wife has allegedly refused to let her husband’s second wife into their home. She explained that she supported her husband through poverty and helped him build his life, only for him to secretly marry another woman without telling her. Because of this betrayal she refuses to welcome the second wife into their home. Some men are not even bold enough to marry two wives. Why making it a secret if you are proud of yourself. Any marriage that start in secret will send in tears premium one for that matter

I have been really into novels and poems about the First World War (and its aftermath) since I first read Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon in high school. Memoirs like “Goodbye to All That” by Robert Graves and the Pat Barker “Regeneration” trilogy, as well as Sebastian Faulk’s amazing “Birdsong” have been favorites of mine for years. So much powerful and existential writing came out of that early 20th century nightmare. “The Remembered Soldier” is a brilliant addition to that group. A soldier named Noon has spent four years at a hospital since he was discovered wandering the trenches with no memory of who he is. Then one day a woman arrives and says she is his wife. This woman is a single mother who has a job as a delivery driver for a company that has a Fed Ex route contract. She relies on this job to support her and her kids. She just found out that the company she works for lost the contract and they will all be out of a job in about a month. She found out from someone else, not the company that she works for. 🤯 She is considering just taking her load back and walking out. This happens quite often in the delivery service field. Companies like Amazon and Fed Ex deliveries are contracted out and if those contractors don’t meet certain standards they can lose the contract. 💯 It’s possible the new contractor will hire her but nothing is guaranteed. My son just went through this a couple of years ago and they did not hire most of the drivers over to the new company. Many people told her not to quit, to stick it out and to go apply with the new company asap. She said if they don’t hire her it is just wasted time in getting a new job. She’s upset because she feels it is disrespectful of her company not to let them know personally and give them time to find a new job. I wouldn’t make matters worse. She needs the money. Trump confirms that it would NOT be US troops sent to Gaza if Hamas continue to break the deal. “It’s not gonna be us, we won’t have to. There are people very close, very nearby that will do the trick.” It’s not just Trump and Israel that made a deal, it was essentially the entire Arab world who also agreed to this peace deal, and if Hamas do not hold their end of the bargain and stop killing civilians, there will be consequences. Many have already tried to spin this as some sort of plot for Trump to start a ground war in the Middle East, and it’s never going to happen. Hamas can either agree to stop the killing of civilians and carry out the points of the peace deal, or the nations of the region will step in, simple as that. The US will not be going to war.
