This line audibly made me go “MMMMM” when I first heard it

“The most powerful thing he’s copied was the ability to lie”

The idea of Metal Sonic buying his time to grow powerful once again is pretty omnious and amazing at the same time.

I don't watch Death Battle but MAN that's perfect for Metal Sonic

Ben Singer once again giving the hardest line deliveries of all time.

That feeling when you realize Sega will never give metal as much justice as an internet power scaling show

I swear to god Wiz has some of the greatest Aura lobs in HISTORY

Holy shit, how come Death Battle make Metal sound more interesting than Sonic Team lmao

Whomever wrote that script was onto something.

The Ultimate Lifeform vs the Perfect Copy

No joke I was like.

god i fucking wish we got something interesting with metal in the main canon again, ohhh the agony of seeing him stuck in fraud status for like 20 years

Nobody: Metal Sonic:

IDW GET ON THIS SHIT PLEASE

Bro thinks he Mahoraga the way he was taught how to lie by the main antagonist

they also completely ignore the fact that Metal doesn't see himself as the original, he sees himself as the perfected sonic, and that he made himself Neo Metal Sonic in Heroes

@OOCCouchGags What is it with Death Battles giving Metal infinitely more aura than he has in the actual series?

What like this kinda su- Oh my fucking god that goes so hard

@RoxanneTonight_ “Maybe the most powerful thing that metal copied, was the ability to lie.”

@semifreqsonic Looks like Cell is the loathsome copy.

and the music choice!

Im so glad im not the only one who noticed how much aura that line has. I hope sega takes notes and brings metal back as a main antagonist

Fuck man I love Cell… but goddamn this is cool

This episode reminds me exactly why I hate powerscaling, because "oh Sonic beat Time Eater and Solaris with help, so Metal Sonic should scale to that by himself, don't ask why" makes absolutely zero sense.

Funny how the ova metal sonic is technically not regular metal sonic

@hawkofkrypton You watch death battle too? 👀

FR actually made me so excited for what they were gonna pull

wait a minute there onto somthing

Metal and Sage will outlive everyone

That line gave me goosebumps. It’s so ominous.
