This literally aired just over a week ago in the current series. For Richard Lewis to have passed away now makes this conversation so profound 🕊️💔 #RIPRichardLewis

He'd been living with Parkinson's disease for some time. I bet Lewis and David were quite aware of what this scene meant. Comedians are built different. So much brutal honesty and humor. Vulnerability that we can all relate to. Truly one of the greats. RIP Richard Lewis.

Ep3 will go down as one of the greatest in the shows history. RIP @TheRichardLewis - a genius

@TheRichardLewis Larry & Richard’s on screen chemistry across the entire show is unmatched. Legend

This is a Jerry & George conversation if I ever heard one

Just watched this last night and my husband and I were discussing how eerie this scene was with Richard Lewis.

Damn, he was my second fav person on the show behind Funkhouser. RIP to them both.

“Richard and I were born three days apart in the same hospital and for most of my life he’s been like a brother to me. He had that rare combination of being the funniest person and also the sweetest. But today he made me sob and for that I’ll never forgive him." - Larry David

The way this clip ends is such a perfect send off. RIP Richard Lewis

They improv most of the show, so I wonder if he was serious. Knowing that he was probably going to die soon.

In a way hes not accepting the will cause he doesn't want to accept that that he's friend will die some day
