Lee rescued her, gave her a warm bath, showered her with love and affection, and gave her the care she had never known before. He then introduced Poppy to the adult dogs in his family. Before long, she transformed from a timid, anxious little puppy into a happy, playful girl who fit right in with her new friends. 🐶❤️

Star, a deaf dog, was returned by adopters four different times 💔 At first, she was abandoned by her original owner because they were moving. She was then adopted again, only to be returned the very same day when her new family discovered that she was deaf. The third adoption lasted just two days because they felt she was "too energetic." The fourth lasted nearly a month before she was returned once more when that family also moved. Fortunately, Star was rescued from the shelter by Shelters & Shelves Rescue. She received training, learned simple sign language cues, and eventually found the loving family she had always deserved. One of the most touching moments was her "Freedom Ride" the joyful journey as Star left her foster home and headed toward her forever home. This time, no one would abandon her again. ❤️
