My cat went missing after escaping our house about ten years ago. He was still young then. He was the best boy. I walked the neighborhood we lived in every night shaking treats, praying heโd come back to us. I printed up fliers with a reward, I made myself loud and obnoxious while calling for him as I walked the sidewalks, I did it all. Nothing. At one point a few months later, I gave up hope. I quit going out and looking for him. One night, my heart was struck and I felt I should reach out to our neighbor group and asked again if anyone had ever seen that cat. One person spoke up and shared a picture and asked, โIs this him?โ They lived two streets away from me. I said it was and asked if I could go by their house and see if it was true. It was. The people who โtook him inโ were really nice and were very kind about giving him back to us. They got it. It was a very sweet interaction Iโll appreciate til I die.

My cat saw me and didnโt give a shit

You happened to have your camera on and cat food in the trunk. An incredible coincidence.

whoa have you heard this yet?

Keep your cats indoors they will, historicaly/scientifically, live longer lives. Avg outdoor cat has a 4-7 lifespan Avg inddor cat live between 10-18 years!

Why did this make you cry? This is blatantly staged

Cats like never listen to their nameโฆ. And heโs been looking for a year? Damnโฆ seems like a loyal cat I wonder how he lost it

If the owner doesn't understand the importance of a 100% indoor cat, this will happen again and I doubt it'll have a happy ending...

For heaven's sake, do NOT drive with the car window open unless the cat is in a crate. They will jump out. Cats are not too bright.

all i could think about while watching this...
