This world only works when we love each other.

This is something I see often as a teacher. I only wish more people understood how bad some kids have it.

If only that kindness was real. I grew up just like that and nobody ever did anything like that for me until high school when the football coach would make free lunch for kids. Then the school shut him down for it.

I get the message but why would someone send their kid to school with an empty lunch box.

You need to know one thing in life, just because it’s going well for you doesn’t mean it’s going well for the next person.. people are really going through hell.
