I wish my people knew how broke these entertainers are. Maybe then they’ll stop wasting their time and world chasing talent pursuing it. The contracts they sign contain language that includes a 6-7 figure marketing budget. So the entertainer are supposed to look like a 6-7 figure product. To sell their singles and merch and shows, which they have little to no ownership of. So even if an artist generates $3M in show money a year, they are in the red with a label owning them $6-$12M. …. And the longer an entertainer is in the game, the more their marketing value decreases.

Unfortunately, this is how the business is with these slimy artists managers. They thrive off talented, desperate artists with little to no direction. They are masters at dangling the carrot in front to chase
