Uber’s pricing reflects corporate greed, not market reality. BlackRock owns 139 million shares, making them a top institutional stakeholder profiting off inflated fares while drivers earn scraps. Post-COVID driver shortages and surge pricing models let Uber exploit both riders and contractors. The $146 upcharge isn’t an anomaly—it’s systemic. D.C. enables this through lax regulations letting Wall Street loot the gig economy. Real reform? Audit transportation contracts, slash middlemen fees, and mandate driver pay transparency. Until then, Uber’s just a toll booth for financial elites.

Thats all going away when tesla robotaxis get traction, shouldnt be long

Blackrock owns a majority stake in most American companies. Everyone should look into how Blackrock and Chase bought Ukraine land and is in charge of the rebuilding of Ukraine and the money involved in that.

I needed to get a 90 minute Uber ride after landing at the airport and was stunned to find out it was going it cost $300. My plane ticket was less expensive!

But, Uber is cheaper than the Taxis they replaced, right? And taxi drivers made a full living from it beforehand. Service got more automated, but pays less and costs more. Fck Blackrock

Uber won’t exist in five years.

Price gouging is real in the US right now

Yeah, and they’re hiring illegals to work for them… Uber how are you hiring illegals to work for you when you have to do a background check and you have to have a drivers license they can’t possibly it’s illegal so somebody needs to bring Uber up on this

Blackrock owns the nursing homes we will end up in. Now THAT’s scary.

Uh, Uber’s a public company bro
