When my kids were young I gave them puzzles and books. Love to read to them soon they read to me. I am not in favor of a child constantly in front of a screen. Interact with them don’t find a sitter ipad. Rant finished.

I don't care if they use electronics so long as they also go outside to play and explore, separately and without screens no dichotomy here.. balance is the key, imo instead of raising Luddites

5 years ago my daughter had some online people molding her. I founf out and took away the wifi and then moved us to the desert with no wifi signal at all. She went through major withdrawl. Just like drugs. Same moodiness, discontent, depression. It was intense. We needed break

Cant leave your kids out until its dark anymore like gen x. So adults are relying too heavily on screens. Just need to limit access to them. Dont have any issues with our kids giving them up, but we definitely have a limit on them.

Yep, and now we have schools issuing all kids with i pads to do school and homework on them. Even if a parent doesn't want their child to have a device, the government is now force feeding our kids with them.

No different than when TVs, internet, gaming systems first started. At the end of the day it’s all about control. Have to know how to take breaks. There are grown ppl addicted to tv, internet, video games, cell phones, social medial, iPads, etc.

The parents and teachers are to blame 100%. They made it harder for the rest of the parents who restricted their kids from owning these devices, making them an obvious minority. Now they struggling. Reap what you sow.

My kid gets limited IPad time that he has to earn. Want to play? Go read a book, build a Lego set, PLAY OUTSIDE!!

Not because of the ipad, because of the education! If you let your kids act like that, they would act like that…. Even at my age, there were kids acted like this but not because of iPad, they can act like this for any reason if the parents couldn’t educate them properly……
