In the same culture he's talking about, “Hoe Culture,” is prevalent. Who are the ones on the forefront of this culture. Married or single people? Paul saw it as a distraction because he's always on the road preaching. Today you have docile people who aren't doing anything with their lives in bulk. They lack purpose but marriage is getting shoved down their necks? Kirk should look at the people he's talking about and see, the opposite of what he's saying is the solution to the crazy deteriorating black community. I agree with him but here’s what I think why they make it mandatory for man to marry first before taking a position in the church. First it will help them focus on the call and reduce fornication, a single man will be tempted by a lot of women in the church therefore warranting them sleeping with every cat & rat that comes their part. Pastors & Married men serving God in the church fornicates, how much more the single men ?

Building a Thick skin or Self Esteem is crucial. No matter what community you find yourself there’s gonna be some sort of Norm not conforming would mean you are different and alien what. It take courage to stand alone. Build Courage.

He is saying something and he is missing something. You see, the work of a minister is like a magnet which draws to itself, pure and impure metals. If you're not careful, you lose the magnet. All ministers, male & female, have the worst of fleshy temptations.
