Another reason to leave California. In 2019 Ari Young was being detained by a female sheriffs deputy when he began punching her and then disarming her. He then fired at her but luckily it malfunctioned before backup arrived. He was acquitted of all charges including resisting arrest, assault on a police officer, and attempted murder. Why should anyone serve the community when this happens?
