Ok, but to be fair, cooking bacon in the oven is SO much better and easier.

Honestly, this ruins it for me, paying sit-down prices for food that’s basically reheated like gas station leftovers isn’t “comfort,” it’s a scam.

This is a “wake up” call to Cracker Barrel. Here’s a suggestion; rather than spend $1M refurbishing the dining room, spend $50,000 per store and open up a wall to the kitchen so customers can WATCH your kitchen staff prepare the meals. That way, everyone will be “accountable” for what and how their meals are being prepared. Waffle House ia not trying to hide how they cook your breakfast! CB should do the same thing!

Cracker Barrel went from country kitchen to corporate cafeteria, and this whistleblower just torched their whole fake “homestyle” shtick. Frozen biscuits, microwaved meatloaf, reheated dumplings, plastic sides, and oven-baked bacon passed off as “grilled”? That’s not southern comfort — that’s prison food with rocking chairs out front. Eight years on the inside and he’s showing how the woke CEO gutted the soul of the place just to shave pennies for shareholders. Customers think they’re paying for nostalgia, but they’re really dropping cash on microwaved slop in a folksy wrapper. It’s not Cracker Barrel anymore — it’s Microwave Barrel.

Cracker Barrel’s switch to frozen, microwaved garbage is a corporate betrayal of their loyal customers for shareholder profits. They’re serving low-quality trash while charging premium prices..

My wife kept saying the food was not the same something has changed & now I know she was right. Do they really think they can fool long time customers?

You can tell their food is precooked and reheated. That’s why I stopped eating there. All restaurants do this. If they want people to eat there again start actually making the food.

Any chain restaurant does this now, they all moved from making dress dressings, bread, flying in fresh sea food etc, to everything being pre-bagged, pre-portioned, and thawed out the night before. Most of what you eat is just microwaved (Mac and cheese, veggies, etc)

8 years in Cracker Barrel’s kitchen and this cook just exposed the whole playbook 👀 🍪 Biscuits? Frozen days ahead 🥟 Dumplings? Frozen in pans 🍖 Meatloaf? Microwaved ‘microplastic’ portions 🥓 Bacon? Never grilled, always baked 🥗 Sides? Bagged & reheated You’re paying for microwave nothing all for shareholders, not customers.

No wonder the last two times I have eaten at @CrackerBarrel it tasted like shit. Disgusting…🤢 ALWAYS, find a recommended local ma & pa restaurant when traveling…

What does this really surprise anyone? All these chain restaurants are in a race to the bottom serving crap. I can remember ages ago Outback was a cut above others. Now it tastes like they cut corners as well. Mass produced garbage. I rarely eat out. Much less surprising to buy good cuts of meat and put it on grill.

Cracker Barrel no longer has a single point of differentiation between themselves and any 2nd rate resturant chain. Worse, they drove their existing customers away with a disastrous new branding campaign. You are looking at a ' distressed ' sale in 6 to 12 months.

@AwakenedOutlaw Ummm, preparing large amounts of food and freezing for later is how I roll. 😮‍💨how the hell do you think half the world eats? Made on the spot food is not feasible. It's HOW they are frozen and HOW they are prepared that determines if they are good or awful. 🙄

When I worked at Taco Bell as a teenager, everything was made fresh. We even put pinto beans into a pot with water, salt and lard, pressure cooked it, mixed it, cooled it, and refried them. There's no pride in these chains anymore.

Isn’t this all common knowledge or sense? U think Cracker Barrel is whipping up every meal fresh back there? Tbf most chains operate this way nowadays, it’s all frozen and reheat and out of a bag, stick to local spots and support local businesses for more fresh options!

Greg Mitchell 的头像

Hey @CrackerBarrel care to respond to this former cook showing everyone how a lot of your food is frozen then microwaved instead of being made fresh? No wonder fewer people eat this crap and your sales have declined.

Private Equity ruins everything it touches. Blackrock places a death sentence. Can we go back to small businesses? Trump, please, lower regulation and costs, so that small companies can flourish again.

They jumped the shark years ago. Most chain restaurants buy pre-made food from GFS or Sysco. You're basically paying top dollar for a TV dinner.

They had to cut corners because of labor costs. If you want to blame someone, blame those that voted for the minimum wage increase.

Not unexpected. When i was a kid, every Dunkin Donuts had a full kitchen where they made their donuts and muffins fresh all day. (Remember "Time to Make the Donuts") Now it all comes from a central warehouse and when they run out, they're out for the day. All chain restaurants do this because now corporate can sell the pre made food to the Franchise owners at inflated prices. They say it's to insure quality, but we know better/

And you can tell. The food has gone down hill. Even the potato cheese casserole, which used to be sooo good, isn’t the same. These are easy things to fix. And now they might have the $’s to do it without the rainbow sponsorships and keeping the logo/signs the same. JMO

Where's Gordon Ramsay when you need him? If Bojangles can make scratch biscuits fresh every day, Cracker Barrel can manage.

Russell Crowe says he raises his cattle with extra care because “the steak tastes better” “I run 220 Angus on my place in the bush, and over time I sort of learned that all of those factory farming processes are just the absolute wrong thing to do. When I first had land and cattle, I used to love getting up at dawn, in the darkness, hat on, stock whip, and getting out and herding them and all that sort of stuff. Over time, I started to realize that that's not good for them” “So we developed this system at my place where we have a single laneway, and all of the other paddocks where the cattle are go onto that laneway. You can muster, one man, a soft voice, and a handful of grain. Just open the gate, call out a couple of times, and they come towards you. You can get every cow in that laneway. Then you get up behind them, walk behind them, and you walk them straight to the yards” “We've taken all the fun out of it, but it's a lot safer, easier, and more sensible. We don't use hose pipes, we don't use stock whips anymore, we don't muster on ATVs. It's either on foot or horseback. We still use working dogs, but the cows don't get upset by the working dogs. They don't get freaked out by them the same way as they get freaked out by an engine roaring up behind them” “The reason for that kind of pastoral care is because, at the end of the day, 100% true, the steak tastes better if you don't adrenalize the cattle, if you don't abuse them. It's just better. It's more tasteful. Really adrenalized meat gets a very gamey quality”

Cracker Barrel has been one of the most loved brands in America for decades… That changed this week with a logo redesign that infuriated the public but… the problem goes MUCH deeper than a logo. Cracker Barrel has gone fully woke and now it’s time to expose everything. Here’s the highlights you need to know: • Cracker Barrel has funded "all ages" Pride events for many years like Nashville Pride and Third River City Pride. • Cracker Barrel worked with the far left HRC organization and reportedly sponsored HRC events for 10 years. They even brought an HRC representative to their Tennessee HQ to do a pronoun and transgenderism training. We’ve included photos of this in the video. As a reminder, the HRC supports child sex changes and men in women’s bathrooms. They work to normalize/legalize both things and they work to force transgenderism in the workplace. • Cracker Barrel worked with a group called Conexión Américas as part of their DEI efforts. This group helps illegal immigrants, providing them lawyers and the executive director opposes President Trump’s deportations. • Cracker Barrel sponsored the Out & Equal LGBTQ Workplace Advocate Conference and presented a workshop on how Cracker Barrel has made progress supporting LGBTQ+ causes. This group works to push sexual topics and pronouns into the workplace. • Cracker Barrel was awarded Out & Equal’s 2018 top LGBT ERG group award and they won the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce "Corporate Diversity" award. • CB created a special "diverse" suppliers program focused on increasing "diversity" among suppliers. To most people this just reads as: less white people. • Had Coming out day pamphlets passed out at their TN headquarters as well as pamphlets about supporting "LGBTQ YOUTH" and creating "Safe Zones" at work, free from "heterosexist or cwordgendered comments and actions" (X will downrank my post if I spell that word out). If you said anything activists would describe as "heterosexist" then you were told that you’d be "educated" by their LGBT office group. • CB has had multiple DEI focused employees and had CB employees attend DEI roundtables. • CB had pride flags at their corporate office. • CB promoted the Stonewall riot to employees and on their website despite the fact that the Stonewall Inn was reportedly owned by the mafia, rife with drug dealing and also the site of teen "prostitution" for older men. • Had a Cracker Barrel employee on the HRC’s business advisory council. • Has ERG groups in the office that are divided by race and sexual preferences. • A total commitment to DEI policies. • CB has had MANY activist employees driving this far left policy agenda, including a head of training + management, top execs and a board of directors member who owns a DEI consulting firm. To put it mildly, Cracker Barrel has forgotten who their core customers are. It’s time for us to remind them. They depend on YOU to keep their business afloat so now YOU have to ask yourself: Do you want to fund people or companies that hate your values? It’s time to remind them who their customers are. If you think their values don’t align with yours and you’re a customer who wants to speak out, you can write to them here: Reporters can also call their reporter hotline at: 615-235-4135 or email them: [email protected] Remember to ALWAYS BE KIND. Many in customer service agree with you. Being rude hurts our cause! I give everyone permission to use my video and what we found to make your own content. You can rip this, clip this, make your own content, etc. You can even monetize my video. Just get this information to everyone you know. We have to take our power back as consumers. Every company needs to get the message that THIS ENDS NOW. If you support our movement then subscribe to my X page for $5 a month or any amount at Become a whistleblower against a woke company at:

Bam Adebayo GOES IN on the critics that says his 83 point game performance is unethical: "For the couch coaches, I mean, if you're in my shoes and you have, first of all, y'all are blaming me. You should be blaming the head coach. Get that first. I was not the one letting me go one-on-one the whole game until I had 70, and then you started to send a double. At that point, I got 70 with, like, what? nine minutes left to go in the game you think i'm not going for it like like and that's the thing that's crazy when they talk about the unethical part of the basketball i'm like if i have 70 points with 9 minutes to go Who would just be like, you know, coach, just take me out. Yeah, right. Anybody in my shoes with nine minutes left? Okay. A minute? All right. Nine? Yeah, I'm going for it. You can't be mad at that. If you are mad, I don't care because a lot of people, they're upset because if they did play, they never had a chance to get that close to chasing greatness. And then if you get that close to chasing greatness, that's the point of chasing it so you can surpass it. And some of the people have never played basketball. So like if you've been in the backyard and you and a couple of your homies have been playing 21 and you got 19. You're not going to get an easy look off. And four, they're going to talk about the free throws. It's not like I shoot 15 free throws a game. It's not like I average 10 free throws a game. You can watch the film. I was legitimately getting fouled every time. So I went to the free throw line."
