I would invoice her for the work to change the relationship from volunteer to contracted. Depending on the situation, the payment may be a homemade cookie and a glass of cold milk, glass of tea, $1, a pittance of gold. Who cares, it’s a legal exchange.

Yes. This is a tactic used by their municipality to place liens on her property so that it can be seized for unpaid fines and sold for a profit for the municipality. It is theft. Those “cops” are acting as public enforcers, not law enforcement. They are serving the public servants, not the public.

Unless the city owns the property, they have zero legal basis to stop him if the home owner is allowing him to be there. I'd welcome the cops to arrest me if I were him, it's an easy law suit for violating his rights.

For him to do this, I feel as if she has been petty in the past, as most men would do it since they already have the equipment running, and a clean neighbors yard makes your yard look good... But, all the energy she has to rant about him, why not get out there and take care of your yard...

She asks him to step out of the vehicle for her own safety. He questions why and claims she’s taking his money, but she says he is only getting a warning. So who is right? This young lady accidentally put her $10 for gas on the wrong pump. When the confused gentleman at the pump asked her if it was her, she said yes and told him to take it. When someone usually puts a set amount in there like $10 instead of filling it up all the way, it normally means that’s all she has or all she could afford to put in, shouldn’t he just move altogether so she can have all of her $10 in gas or better yet just fill her tank for her?

My mom’s neighbor used to yell at my nephew all the time for no reason, he was only 5 years old when it happened. It got so bad I wouldn’t let him outside by himself anymore. On more than one occasion she would move her car when we walked by as if she was trying to bump him with her mirror. I left work and went over there to visit and when I pulled up I saw my mom outside having a screaming match with the neighbor. My nephew was standing behind my mom and I could see he was crying. I immediately went over there and asked what was going on.she said she came home from work and saw my nephew who I remind you is 5 years old, shirtless and running through a sprinkler in the front yard. She feels that he shouldn’t have been doing that in the front yard and how he was dressed inappropriately for all to see. I looked at him, he was shirtless and was wearing swim trunks and rubber water shoes. I was very confused as to what she meant by inappropriate. I told her he’s a little boy running around a sprinkler, it’s hot out and he wasn’t even close to her property. She said she didn’t care, it was the fact that he was out there shirtless and he shouldn’t have had to see it if he was doing it in the back yard like he was supposed to. My mom then chimed in and said she didn’t have to scream at him like that, he’s only 5 years old. The neighbor threatened to call the cops if she saw him running around shirtless again I told her to be my guest, he’s not doing anything wrong. I ended up calling her son who I grew up with, he and I were friends but as soon as he was old enough he ran out and never came back. He said his mom hated kids, she even treated him badly when he was a kid too and that’s why he left when he did. I ended up installing cameras there to document what was going on incase this escalated further.

I left work and went over there to visit and when I pulled up I saw my mom outside having a screaming match with the neighbor. My nephew was standing behind my mom and I could see he was crying. I immediately went over there and asked what was going on.she said she came home from work and saw my nephew who I remind you is 5 years old, shirtless and running through a sprinkler in the front yard. She feels that he shouldn’t have been doing that in the front yard and how he was dressed inappropriately for all to see. I looked at him, he was shirtless and was wearing swim trunks and rubber water shoes. I was very confused as to what she meant by inappropriate. I told her he’s a little boy running around a sprinkler, it’s hot out and he wasn’t even close to her property. She said she didn’t care, it was the fact that he was out there shirtless and he shouldn’t have had to see it if he was doing it in the back yard like he was supposed to. My mom then chimed in and said she didn’t have to scream at him like that, he’s only 5 years old. The neighbor threatened to call the cops if she saw him running around shirtless again I told her to be my guest, he’s not doing anything wrong. I ended up calling her son who I grew up with, he and I were friends but as soon as he was old enough he ran out and never came back. He said his mom hated kids, she even treated him badly when he was a kid too and that’s why he left when he did. I ended up installing cameras there to document what was going on incase this escalated further.
