How I approach trust in my relationships after suffering many a let down. I start by allocating 100% trust to everyone. Their actions dictates if that trust is maintained or reduced. When that trust reaches a certain level then I pull the plug on you.

That’s actually a wise approach. Trust fully, observe actions, and withdraw quietly when respect fades. It protects peace without bitterness.

Exact thing I always say. It’s always in the tiny details! The other thing I’m big on is: Watch how people speak about others to you. It’s often a preview of how they’ll speak about you to another too.

Trust is earned over time. The problem is that it can all be wiped away in just a fraction of a second.

She ignores incentives, manipulation and reality. I had a friend of 15 years who invited me to everything. Checked in. AND also spoke about my private life to others - apparently regularly. People aren’t 2 dimensional. People are ego driven and more complicated than what this woman portrays. We are not all teens.

I love this. True friends should have their own jar full of marbles. I have two such friends. I am blessed.

Trusting people should not be a life goal. Understanding people are inherently evil helps avoid problems.

Just because someone does nice things for you does not mean you can trust them. You have to know the type of person that person is by how they deal with others. If your friend gossips about EVERYONE to you assume they are doing it to you behind your back too.

You can't fake authenticity. There's a fine line between little meaningful nothings like this, and making someone think you're pitying/using them.

trust isn’t built by grand gestures, but by quiet consistencies. each kept word, each moment of honesty, adds another stone to the jar. break it once and the weight is gone. still learning how to rebuild that weight between long security shifts and worn-out nights:

No, that’s an absolute great approach to trusting someone but just like she said it’s over a time period. It’s never just instant.

This is good in personal life but in a professional life people' s priority is money. They are trustworthy till they are benefitted by u. The day you are not useful to them they are using the information that you shared with them to reach their monetary goal

omg, sigh the problem with that is to many people have hammers to break that jar. TRUST NO ONE. THE ONLY THING THAT IS SAFE IS WHAT STAYS BETWEEN YOUR EARS. AND WITH TECHNOLOGY THE WAY IT IS I'M NOT EVEN SURE ABOUT THAT.
