In my opinion, @WWE has set a disturbing precedent. The presentation of wrestlers like Stephanie Vaquer, with gear and camera angles that emphasize exposed butt cheeks and moves that draw attention to them, has shifted the focus away from wrestling ability. Now it seems more women in the ring are adopting similar tactics with increasingly revealing attire, including unnecessary straps and designs that exist primarily to highlight their bodies rather than serve a practical purpose. Instead of showcasing the talent and athleticism that helped elevate women's wrestling, the emphasis appears to be moving toward being overly sexualized and "cute" in the ring. To me, that's a step backward for @WWE and a disappointing direction for the women's division.
