@figma This video is incorrect. What is the purpose of spreading this incorrect information? That’s not how the IPO process works. Investment banks did not keep the difference between $33 and the opening price of live trading.. Total false information @austinhankwitz

@figma atleast tag the creator of the video @austinhankwitz

@figma @austinhankwitz I found it instagram dude.

@figma @austinhankwitz ok and?

@figma @austinhankwitz After your comment I saw this account

@figma This is dumb and wrong because those people who sold to the bank pre IPO had no chance to get their shares listed and sold to retail in the 100s

@figma Sooo…a completely standard IPO process

@figma Omg... This is how IPOs work for all companies going public. Unless you go DPO (direct public offering) like Palantir had done in 2020.

Video credit @austinhankwitz

@figma I don't get it. I got 1 FIG share through Robinhood for $33. Robinhood allocation was at the IPO price.

@figma Absolutely no idea what you talmbout. Please google roadshow and how securities are priced at IPO. Even with a greenshoe banks dont just pocket the pop. Sizeable pops are bad for the banks as it shows mispricing and bad underwriting.

@figma ~100% of this video is wrong

@figma you’re a moron

@figma Except you miss one thing. Figma didn't have to sell out for 33 bucks. They chose to do so, still a raw deal

@figma Wrong. Good grief, you don’t know wtf you’re talking about 🤡

@figma Those Wall Street banks, as well as you both, scammed the OG Figma and OG video creator. No more. I’m in talks with @nikitabier & @elonmusk to launch Content ID just like YouTube, so that all X rev share is always paid out to OG creators.

@figma Sounds like a good thing that MCF didnt make more money. Scam organization

@figma 100% wrong. Man social media rots the brain

@figma Maybe just say "I dont understand how IPOs work" and ask for some to explain it to you.

@figma figma

@figma @grok is this accurate?

@figma 1/2 Only partially correct…and mostly misleading. Banks make a small percentage fee, typically 5–7% of the total IPO proceeds (called the underwriting spread). Banks allocate shares to hedge funds, mutual funds, and high-value clients — “IPO buyers”.

@figma It’s called a bought deal and happens all the time.

@figma Next time they should use and just let it trade without middleman? @grok

@figma Figma

@figma The creator knows no sh* t about IPO. At least research before creating content

@figma Bit misleading this vid… the average investor couldn’t market it at 110 or wherever you’re claiming the banks later sold it at.. that premium (2.8b) is essentially the price of their work.. not saying it’s right or wrong just that the video glosses over a lot of basics

@figma @RobertMSterling can you get me some of this stock in a 3rd layer SPV?

@figma @The_olakunle

@figma Supply chain resilience isnt about predicting disruption...its about adapting to it faster than your competitors. This is where the real value lies.

@figma the wall street bandits

@figma Ligma

@figma So it is safe to say Figma is overpriced

@figma Figma

@figma It got listed at around 80 something - not 110, right?

@figma Retail couldn’t have bought at $33… only accredited investors

@figma Figma

@figma This is the standard process for IPO's. By your standard, you wouldn't be able to invest in any stock because they all go through this process.
