I don't believe a word of it. Your kid is supposedly having medical emergency and you think that's the time to pull out a phone and start recording? If water is vital why not head to the bathroom and get some out of the sink? If it's a life or death situation you wouldn't get water out of a sink to save a life? How about ORDERING a drink? So sick of all these entitled people constantly wanting to put minimum-wage workers on trial for not giving them enough free stuff fast enough.

Postictal patients don't need water. Why is a mother filming staff when her daughter is having a seizure. The staff are perfectly correct, these people are lying lunatics.

My question is, if your daughter just had a seizure, why are you even recording, rather than just getting help?

They are not medical professionals. Call EMS. Water is not going to solve or improve anything. What did they want the employees to do? An EEG? Hook her up to a monitor? Administer anticonvulsants? If it’s that severe, get medical attention.

No restaurant would let that happen. Especially McDonalds. The original poster provided the location and address. The operator could lose their entire franchise holdings for letting a “skit” happen. You want to risk $1.5-5 million per location just for a few thousand clicks?

I do get his point that she should not be recording, let alone being back there—as that’s a good code violation—but his indifference is very cold.

He did what he supposed to do when she filmed. I think he has good restraint. It's a manager in training and she doesn't know anything about seizures. Why don't you just educate people about them instead of blaming them when they don't know.

Who would even think to start filming if their daughter was having a seizure? If you daughter needs help, you get help. You don't start recording what others are doing.

If my child is having a medical emergency the only thing my phone is doing is calling 911. I'm so sick of people recording everywhere and honestly that's why I don't go out much. I don't care if it's their right, it's being used for SM clicks. It's rude.

@thewriterme I have asked my wider to record me having seizures dozens of times. She never has. Most people drop everything and look after their loved one.

She needs to put the phone down and help her daughter. That overrides everything.

Why was she recording?

I have a child who recently died from seizure. She was 39 years old. She never asked for water after seizure. She had a headache and promptly slept for an hour. Asking for water is a little bit odd here. Muscles convulse and I would be fearful that she could choke or go into another seizure directly after the first one. I vote with others who think there's something odd about this post.

He’s probably heard multiple stories of why he should give people free drinks. Dude was not having it. She can say her daughter was having a seizure but there’s no proof. A cup of water will do nothing to help a seizure either. She’s def baiting and looking to sue. Ban her.

The last thing I would think of doing if my daughter had a seizure and hit her head is to pull out my phone and film. I'd be holding her in my arms. If I had to go to the counter and ask for a glass of water I would do that myself, then run back to her.

My kid has had seizures. The doctors asked I film the seizure so they could see what type of seizure they were dealing with. This is 🐂 💩.
