There is nothing controversial in it, we were taught not to use anybody's name as an intermediary to God. Simple truth.

He is right. Jesus, in the book of Matthew 6:9 (NIV) said thus... “This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name..." Notice He said "OUR FATHER" which gives credence to what the Pastor emphasized.

That's why Christ taught us to pray starting with "Our Father..."

There's no controversy in what he's preaching. It's the fact.

Hmmmm everybody should do their own d way they understand o but am with this man on this cos that's my own believe too

John 14:6 KJV (6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The birth of Jesus Christ, and the gift of salvation changed the way we pray to God. Nothing controversial btw, we're no longer living in the old testament
